Privacy Policy

The Paper Riot Store, at www.thepaperriotstore.com, collects very little about you. This page explains what we do collect and why.

1. What we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type. When you sign up for free pages or the newsletter, your email address is stored by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider, and used only to send you what you asked for. You can unsubscribe with one click at any time.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and which books people look at. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out with a browser extension or by blocking analytics cookies.

We also use the Pinterest Tag, which tells Pinterest when someone visits this site or clicks through to buy a book, so we can see which of our Pins are useful. We do not send Pinterest your name or email address. You can limit this in your Pinterest privacy settings or by blocking third-party cookies.

3. Purchases

Printable editions are sold on this site, and checkout is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy policy and sends us your name, email address and what you bought so we can deliver your files and help if something goes wrong. Paperbacks are sold through Amazon under its own privacy policy.

If you use our feedback form, we receive your star rating, your comment and, if you give it, your first name. We only put your words on this site if you tick the box giving us permission.

4. Amazon Associates

The Paper Riot Store is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. If you follow a link to Amazon from this site and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

5. Cookies and logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard log data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Analytics and the email signup form set cookies to work properly. We do not sell any of this, and apart from the Pinterest Tag described above, we do not share it.

6. Questions

Email hello@thepaperriotstore.com and we will answer.
