Questions about
activity books
What is in an activity book?
Large-print word searches, conversation starters to read aloud, finish-the-saying pages, and a smaller number of bold and easy coloring pages. Every answer is checked and printed at the back, and every word you actually read is set at sixteen point or larger.
Are the puzzles hard?
Deliberately gentle. Word search grids are 13 by 13 with twelve words that run left-to-right or top-to-bottom only, never backwards and never diagonal. They are built so the puzzle takes less time than the conversation it starts.
Who are they for?
Seniors, including people living with memory loss, and the family members, caregivers and activity staff who sit with them. Each book opens with a note for the caregiver. They are activity and conversation books, not medical products.
What is coming next?
Large-print word search and sudoku books in the same format, and more decades in the Way Back When series. Subscribers hear first, along with a free page from each new book.
