For activity professionals

A copy for everyone
in the room.

You have a calendar to fill, probably no assistant, and a room where no two people are at the same level. These are printable activities you can run tomorrow — large print, one thing to a page. A group license lets you print a copy for every person in your program, as many times as you like.

The printing question, answered first

The $4.99 to $6.99 PDFs in the shop are for home and family. For your residents, your class, your day center or your church group, there is a group license: one payment per title, unlimited printing for everyone it covers, every year. No per-copy fee, and it never expires.

  • Single group · one leader and one group · $24.99
  • Several groups · up to six at one location · $79
  • Whole center · every program at one location · $149
  • Full catalog · every title, whole center · $599

Card, invoice (net 30) or purchase order. W-9 on request, tax-exempt certificates honored, and a license letter for your purchasing department.

Activities that run without you

The hardest slot to fill is the one where you are somewhere else. These work handed out, with no facilitation, and they hold an adult's attention because the subjects are adult.

Large print word search

Big Print Autumn Word Search

Seventy-five puzzles, one per two-page spread, capitals 8.5 mm tall with the word list the same size. Hand it out and it occupies a table for an hour with nobody facilitating.

Large print sudoku

Large Print Sudoku for Seniors

Three difficulty levels in one book, digits 7.1 mm tall, one puzzle to a page. Good for the residents who want something genuinely cognitive.

Activities built to be done together

These have the conversation built into the page, so a volunteer or a family member can run them without a plan.

Reminiscence, 1960s

Way Back When: 1960s

Sixty conversation starters, forty large print word searches, thirty coloring pages and ten finish-the-saying pages. The questions are the activity; the puzzles are what people do while they answer.

Christmas, with memory prompts

December Days

Twenty-four large print pages, and facing each one a question rather than a caption. All twenty-four questions are collected at the back so anyone can pick it up and run it.

Fifteen celebrations

Holidays Around the World

One true sentence under every picture, saying what the tradition is and where it happens. Read the line out loud, then color. Works for a mixed room and for classrooms.

One room, three abilities

The usual problem is not finding an activity. It is finding one that does not leave half the room out. The catalog is deliberately split, and every listing says plainly which it is:

  • Bold and easy — thick lines, wide open shapes, one design to a page. For unsteady hands and low vision, and it still looks like something an adult made.
  • Drawn in more detail — the Brown Sugar Collection and Mara at Home, for residents who find bold and easy too simple and say so.
  • Puzzles by level — the word search books run easy through hard, and the sudoku has three levels in one volume, so the same book serves the whole table.

Everything is large print, printed one thing to a page, in black ink on white paper. Nothing is decorated for the sake of it, which also makes it cheap to run off in quantity.

Try it on your room first

There is a free sample page from every book, one click each, no email needed. Print a few, run them this week, and see which ones your residents actually pick up before you spend anything.

Questions, or something you cannot find

If you need a theme that is not here, a custom book, or a larger trim size, email hello@thepaperriotstore.com. A real person reads it — there is only one of us.

These are activity books, not therapy, and they make no claim to treat or prevent anything.
