"You Are Loved." "One Day At A Time." "Home Sweet Home." The words are the picture here. Each page is a single phrase set in thick outlined letters, with one clear image beneath it: a basket of bread, a rocking chair, a sleeping cat, a lighthouse. Nothing fiddly, nothing crowded, and nothing that has to be finished. Most affirmation coloring books are drawn for people with steady hands and good light. This one is not. The lines measure six points, and the open shapes are large enough that a chunky marker or a thick pencil fills them without going over. There is no shading, no tiny detail, and no page that takes an hour. Because the words are large, a page can be read out loud before it is colored, which turns a quiet half hour into a conversation.
